Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is the new strain of coronavirus that has been identified on December 2019 in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China. Many countries have started their precautions and implemented screening for travelers coming from Wuhan City. Iran ,Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, France, the United States and other countries have reported an imported case Chinese patient. The original source of transmission remain unidentified. However, available genetic and epidemiological data suggests that is a zoonotic pathogen with possible spillover directly from wildlife or via intermediate animal hosts or their products. Human to human transmission has been confirmed in China where numerous healthcare workers have been infected in clinical settings with overt clinical illness and fatalities. While most cases have been associated with fever and respiratory symptoms (coughing, shortness of breath and pneumonia), mild or subclinical cases cannot be ruled out. However, there is not much information about definitive conclusions for transmission mode, clinical presentation or the extent to which it has spread. Investigations are currently in progress.

So, Expected mood of transmission: 1- Direct transmission: through respiratory droplets from the patient (sneeze, cough….) 2- In-Direct transmission: - Touching surface with droplet secretion from patient. - Touching eye, nose and mouth without hand hygiene.
